Star Trek TV Series Reportedly In The Works

A new TV series set in the universe of Star Trek is in development, according to Latino Review.

The project will reportedly be headed to CBS, who have a long-standing relationship with Paramount, the producers of the film franchise, and who are getting into genre in a big way in the fall with Greg Berlanti's Supergirl.

They have few details, although an earlier TV reboot titled Star Trek: Federation was proposed a few years back and they've heard that X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer, who was at one point attached to Federation, is attached to the project.
