Justice League: Gods and Monsters Trailer Released Online

A trailer for Warner Bros.' upcoming DC Universe animated feature film Justice League: Gods and Monsters has appeared online.

Developed by Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett, the project will spawn a spinoff animated series on Machinima and is meant to provide fans with a look into an alternate version of the DC Universe.

Described as an "Elseworlds story" in which Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are far more brutal and find themselves accused of the murders of some of the DC Universe's most brilliant minds, the film is directed by Sam Liu and described by longtime DC editor Mike Carlin as "Easter egg time for 90 minutes."

The project comes to Blu-ray and DVD this summer.
