iZombie: Patriot Brains Synopsis Released, With A Huge Nod to the Comics

Percy Daggs III of Veronica Mars fame is coming to Seattle to guest star in May 12's episode of iZombie, according to an official synopsis released tonight by The CW.

The synopsis also includes what's either a major Easter egg, or perhaps even a tease of things to come, as the victim of the week worked at a paintball facility.

In the comics, of course, Blood Sports Paintball was the stomping grounds of a group of seductive female vampires who were key antagonists early in the series.

PERCY DAGGS III ("VERONICA MARS") GUEST STARS — Liv (Rose McIver) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) investigate the mysterious death of a former sniper, Everett (guest star Ronald Patrick Thompson), who has been working as an instructor at a paintball facility. They begin questioning family members including Everett's ex-wife and her new husband Sean (guest star Percy Daggs III) and realize things are not what they seem. Meanwhile, Major (Robert Buckley) continues to get closer and closer to the truth, and Blaine (David Anders) does the unthinkable. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Robert Forman (#108).
