ABC Puts Kibosh On Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D Spinoff With Adrianne Palicki

On a day that Marvel fans could rejoice because Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter were both renewed there was one casualty: ABC reportedly decided not to move forward with the Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff.

The spinoff was to feature Adrianne Palicki's 'Bobbi Morse,' also known as Mockingbird, and her ex-husband 'Lance Hunter,' played by Nick Blood.

The end of season 2 of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is supposed to set up the spinoff, so that might lead to an awkward conclusion for those two characters.

The series was being developed by S.H.I.E.L.D. executive produer Jeffrey Bell and series writer Paul Zbyszewski. They wrote the pilot and Zbyszewski would have served as its showrunner.
