John C. Reilly Confirms Wreck-It Ralph 2

Yesterday, John C. Reilly (Guardians of the Galaxy, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby), who voiced the titular character, confirmed at Galway Film Fleadh that Wreck-It Ralph 2 is in the works and that he has signed on for it.

The 2012 animated movie grossed over $470M for Walt Disney Animation Studios--$189M domestically and $281M internationally.

The Mouse House hasn't given the film an official green light, but director Rich Moore had previously said that he had began exploring ideas for sequel immediately after the first film became a box office hit. Back then, he was hoping the sequel would explore online and console gaming.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012) - Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix (voice of Jack McBrayer), the "good guy" star of their game who always gets to save the day. But after decades doing the same thing and seeing all the glory go to Felix, Ralph decides he's tired of playing the role of a bad guy.
