Constance Zimmer has joined the cast of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3 as a recurring character, according to Entertainment Weekly. Zimmer will play the head of a new government agency that goes head-to-head with Director Phil Coulson and S.H.I.E.L.D. in the race to find the Inhumans.
Zimmer’s previous credits include turns on House of Cards, Entourage, Grey's Anatomy, and most recently on UnREAL. She’ll make her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season premiere on Sept. 29, which picks up a few months after the previous season’s finale.
Zimmer’s character is just one of several joining the show in Season 3. Marvel has promised characters from Secret Warriors and the Inhuman called Lash will also be appearing, and Andrew Howard has already been cast as new character Agent Banks.
