Happy Birthday! Jeremy Irons Turns 67 Today

Happy birthday to the latest reincarnation of Alfred! Jeremy Irons is celebrating his 67th birthday.

Known for his childhood dream haunting voice work as Scar in The Lion King, Irons will debut in the DC Cinematic Universe and Batman's butler, Alfred Pennyworth, when Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters in March. Irons says we can expect a completely new Alfred this time around, perhaps more hands on and physical! You may also recognize Irons from his villainous role as Simon in Die Hard With A Vengeance.

Prior to fame, Irons performed in a four man school band called Four Pillars of Wisdom. Who can dig up the footage of them playing?
