Felicity Will Be Funny Again in Arrow Season 4

If Felicity got a little too serious and angsty for your tastes in Arrow's third season, there's good news for you. Despite her taking a larger business role as the new CEO of Palmer Technologies, she'll also have a bit of a return to form for the character, who made her way into fan's hearts largely through her quirky nature and quick wit in the first two seasons.

Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim told TVLine in their weekly scoop column that Felicity's humor will be "back with a vengeance" in the upcoming season. Emily Bett Rickads, who plays the character is "on the top of her game. She's hysterical. We're definitely writing jokes for her, but she's also finding humor in lines that weren't intentionally humorous," he promised.

Felicity won't be the only Smoak around, either, as her mother Donna Smoak will be on three episodes in the first half of the season. As for meeting her father, well, "we trust that it will come to us when it's meant to come to us," Guggenheim said.
