While promoting Pan, Hugh Jackman shared his favorite Wolverine moment and provided advice to whichever actor takes on the role once he bids it farewell after his third Wolverine solo film.

"Start training six months out," Jackman advised any actor that will next play the retractable-clawed mutant superhero. Jackman learned that lesson the hard way in 1999 when he told X-Men (2000) director Bryan Singer he only required 3 weeks of training to get into shape. When filming began, it was clear Jackman's body wasn't in superhero form, so Singer hid his physique with well-placed camera angles while Jackman added muscles during filming. The 47-year-old Australian actor pointed out that viewers should notice that his body goes through a major transformation during the film.

"I think ultimately, my favorite moment is the cameo in First Class," Jackman told Digital Spy when asked which was his favorite Wolverine moment. In 2011's X-Men: First Class, directed by Matthew Vaughn, Jackman made an uncredited cameo. He's sitting in a bar when Xavier (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) approach him about joining them. He declines, telling them, "Go f*ck yourselves."

Listen to Jackman's comments in the video below.

20th Century Fox's third Wolverine solo film starring Hugh Jackman will begin filming in the early part of 2016 and has been scheduled to arrive in theaters March 3, 2017.
