Daredevil & Elektra To Have A Very Fiery Relationship

The dynamic between Daredevil and Elektra can be a pivotal point for the success of Daredevil's second season. The Netflix series is burdened with establishing one of Daredevil's biggest characters and relationships in the wake of 2003 & 2005's Daredevil and Elektra movies which were not the best critically received films. The new series didn't have any trouble establishing its titular hero with his first season, though.

With Elodie Yung taking on the role of Elektra, Charlie Cox is ready to talk a bit about the upcoming new flame. "I think every single man has an Elektra in their past," he tells Empire of Daredevil's college fling who happens to be a world-class ninja assassin.

While Cox isn't exactly spilling details left and right, he did share a bit of insight about the relationship between the two red knights. "If you imagine that relationship, a very fiery, very lustful, very loving and hating relationship, and then you add to that two people who know serious martial arts, you're going to have an interesting dynamic," the English actor explains.

It will be interesting to see how things unfold between Matt, Elektra, and Claire in season two.
