Fast Explosion

Fast 8 continues to add international locations to its plans. The globetrotting film said to take place mostly in New York has already looked to film in Cuba but now it is looking to blow up Iceland.

A new report from Visir suggests the eighth addition to the franchise will film in the West Iceland town of Akranes. The report claims the project will shoot by the town's harbor and "Cement Fields."

It doesn't end there, though. Apparently, Fast & Furious 8 is looking to pull off the biggest explosion ever to take place in Iceland. Surely, all of the main characters will survive.

The Icelandic town is preparing for stores and services to be affected by the shoot but the Akranes mayor, Regina Asvaldsdottir, says the locals are very excited for the production to arrive.

Fast & Furious 8 is set for release April 14, 2017.
