In the upcoming crossover episode of Supergirl, titled Worlds Finest, we already knew the duo were going to have to face Silver Banshee. Now it appears she will have some backup in the episode via the returning Livewire.

The plot of the episode has yet to be revealed, but with Livewire in tow the duo should have their hands full. What we do know is that the multi-verse crossover will air on March 28th (on CBS), and that these crossovers have struck a giddy nerve with fans. Personally I think it strengthens both brands to be presences in each other shows (the same with Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow).

It is something that Marvel seems to want to do more of, but when tying into movies it becomes much harder to do o a regular basis.
