Olivia Munn is helping bring the fan favorite (and deadly might I add) Psylocke to the screen this year when X-Men Apocalypse hits theaters later this year. Part of that required many weeks of training, and the other part was just the willingness to do the stunts herself.

"That was me from the beginning to the end," Munn told ET at the Sci-Tech Awards. "That was a really cool thing to feel like when I showed up on set I was like, "Oh wait, I can do this! Throw me onto a wire, give me a sword – I'm good!'"

She was offered a stunt double, but in wanting to make things as real as possible, opted to get her hands her dirty instead.

"Psylocke is such a powerful, lethal character," said Munn. "It was important to me that I was able to do all of the stunts because the more believable it is, the better it is for the audience -- and the only way to make it believable is for me to actually do it."

Effects can do wonders these days, and many times you can't even tell the stunt double is in there, but I give her all the credit for really wanting to deliver a Psylocke on screen that fans have been wanting for so long. So far she looks like she is doing her part to make that happen.

X-Men Apocalypse releases on May 27th, 2016.
