Gotham Stars Ben McKenzie & Morena Baccarin Have Baby Girl Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan

In September 2015, when it was first reported that Morena Baccarin was pregnant with her Gotham co-star Ben McKenzie's baby, fans of the show suggested some great names for the baby. The best suggestion was naming the baby Gotham, so that when the baby needs tending to Baccarin could tell her boyfriend and Jim Gordon actor, "Gotham needs you." The runner-up would be Damian, which is the name of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul's son. The actors share a connection to the name as Baccarin voiced Talia in Son of Batman and McKenzie voiced The Dark Knight in Batman: Year One. Sadly, they picked neither.

"Morena and Ben are so happy to welcome baby girl Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan on March 2," reps Jennifer Allen and Rhett Usry informed USA Today on Friday. "All are happy and healthy and appreciate the well-wishes."

This is McKenzie's first child and Baccarin's second. She gave birth to her now 2-year-old son, Julian, back in October 2013. His father is Baccarin's estranged husband, Austin Chick.
