Happy birthday, Aaron Eckhart! The actor is celebrating his 48th birthday today.

Once a minor actor who stuck to quieter films, Eckhart became a Hollywood name after playing Harvey Dent/Two Face in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight. As Batman's ally-turned-foe, Eckhart won rave reviews for his performance as the tragic character.

Since The Dark Knight, Eckhart has moved onto larger roles including Battle: Los Angeles, and I, Frankenstein. Other memorable performances from his career include The Wicker Man, Thank You For Smoking, and Erin Brockovich. Currently, his new action thriller, London Has Fallen, is playing theaters and Eckhart plays the President of the United States.
