Every single person on the internet seems to have a thoroughly fleshed out theory on who died in the closing moments of The Walking Dead's season six finale.

From Glenn, to Abraham, to Daryl, to Rosita - there's "hard evidence" to support every single theory. From now on, we're going to flesh out each one of those theories each day and let you decide which is most concrete.

Today, we'll continue with Rosita Espinosa.

Rosita was recently left in the dust by her apocalypse lover Abraham and moved right along to the recently orphaned Spencer Monroe. No one in the group of Alexandrians lined up in front of Negan would feel a particular urge to jump out and rescue her.

Prior to the Saviors showing up, Rosita was training the citizens of Alexandria to fight. She was very much leading the army. She inspired the cowardly Eugene to take on a walker outside the walls. Even though it didn't go his way, her positive effects on the community were on display.

If Rosita were to be killed, the impact would be felt at Alexandria and no one would be left to train the army. Abraham is capable but he would not be able to devote himself to such work with all of his other responsibilities. It would truly put the Safe-Zone in a tough spot.

The most concrete theory backing Rosita as the victim involves the point of view showcase of Negan's slaughter. Throughout the season finale, the view of a captured character in the back of the Saviors' van was shown. The only people in that van were Michonne, Glenn, Daryl, and Rosita.

Maggie would've likely made a much bigger scene if Glenn were the victim, much like Rick would for Michonne. Daryl, the show's poster boy, has a lot more story left to tell, especially with Dwight. That leaves only Rosita as the potential victim.

Also, by the process of elimination, we can rule Rosita as the victim. Glenn would have interfered with Maggie's death, Rick would have done the same for Carl, and in both of those cases, the names can be switched for the same result. Abraham would not have let Sasha die and his role will be way too vital in the upcoming war with the Saviors.

By these standards, Rosita had to be Negan's victim.

The Walking Dead returns in October for its seventh season. Expect a trailer with more clues to spawn from San Diego Comic Con in July.
