BBC Announces New Doctor Who Reveal Coming Soon

Behind every great Doctor is a companion (or two) that keeps him grounded, and usually winds up saving the day themselves a couple of times. With the departure of Jenna Coleman's Clara Oswald, the search has been on for the next traveler to join Doctor Who.

The wait is nearly over, with BBC announcing... well, the announcement. The new companion will be announced this Saturday, April 23, during the BBC One Match of the Day Live half time.

The news will also be announced online on Doctor Who official social media channels at the same time (and of course sites like our own near-simultaneously). We finally will be able to answer the question, "Companion Who?"
