Quicksilver

You'd think two speedsters might have a little rivalry, especially if they're both technically the same speedster in two different universes. Not so for Evan Peters and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, though - the two, after all, played best friends in Kick-Ass.

"I was devastated by [Quicksilver's death in Age of Ultron], Peters, who reprises his Quicksilver in X-Men: Apocalypse, told Yahoo. "I really wanted that to keep going. I thought it was cool. I don't really know why they killed him of."

Peters looked forward to a little friendly competition as they would push each other to do more with the character. "Oh, they did that with him and that was awesome. Now we've got to try to top that with this," he posited. "It could have been a nice little motivation."

The actor specifically liked Taylor-Johnson's accent in the Avengers sequel, and the "swoopy thing with the lines behind" as the contrails followed him when he ran at full speed.

Alas, there's only one Quicksilver now, but his scene-stealing ways continue in X-Men: Apocalypse after his standout introduction in Days of Future Past. The new scene is several times longer and more spectacular, and is followed-up by a couple more major moments for the speedster. Apocalypse hits theaters May 27, 2016. Read our full review here.
