The final full-length trailer (don't worry, there'll still be another 20 TV spots, certainly) for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows has been released online. The trailer features several bits of footage that haven't been seen in the other trailers, though much of it was already released in the more than twenty TV spots that have proliferated.
The central action piece to this trailer takes place on a plane, and we see much more of that setpiece than we had previously. It appears this is where the showdown with Rocksteady and Bebop, fan favorite henchmen who surprisingly have never appeared in a film before, will take place, all while it's soaring (and then crashing) through the air. This follows suit with other major action films like the recent chapters of Fast and Furious and Mission Impossible - planes are the new car chase!
Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to theaters this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O'Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen "Sheamus" Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is directed by Dave Green and stars: Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Brad Garrett, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, Brian Tee, Laura Linney, Sheamus, and Gary Anthony Williams.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will land in theaters June 3, 2016.
