Happy Birthday! Mark Wahlberg Turns 45 Years Old Today

Today is actor Mark Wahlberg's birthday.

Though the famous Bostonian has kept his resume mostly clear of comic book and science fiction films, he did star in Michael Bay's 2014 film Transformers: Age of Extinction. As Cade Yeager, Wahlberg defended humanity from the catastrophic skirmish between the gigantic robots. He'll reprise the role for Transformers: The Last Knight, which begins filming in a couple days.

Wahlberg's other memorable films include Ted (and the upcoming Ted 2), The Other Guys, Max Payne, The Fighter, Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes, Boogie Nights, and Entourage (as himself).
