The Rock is pumped about Fast & Furious 8. In a new video posted to Instagram, the wrestler turned movie star delivered a passionate wrestling promo style commentary about a new scene in the movie, in which his character Hobbs has to fight his way through a prison.

I know you guys can see it... I have so much damn FUN playin' the character of HOBBS. A man who lives by a code of ethics, but who will also rip your throat out and give it back to you just so you can apologize for pissin' him off. For years our #FastAndFurious writer Chris Morgan, our @sevenbucksprod's producer Hiram Garcia and myself would always talk about how insanely FUN FOR THE FANS a "Hobbs prison breakout" scene would be - wrecking every fool that's in his way. Well that day has come, which is why I'm completely iced in my veins and amped out of my f*cking mind in this vid and clearly in need of a horse tranquilizer. Let Toretto and his friends preach family and love... Not HOBBS. The Iceman cometh. And he don't fucketh around. #OnSet #Fast8 #Iceman

Production is currently underway for the film in far off locales like Iceland and Cuba, as well as domestic locations like Cleveland and Atlanta. No official synopsis has been released for the film, but we do know that Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel), Hobbs and the rest of the Fast and Furious cast will face off against Charlize Theron, who plays a new character called Cipher. Jason Statham's villainous character Deckard Shaw will also appear in the movie.

Fast & Furious 8 will be the first Fast and Furious movie since Tokyo Drift to not star Paul Walker, who passed away last year after a fatal car accident.

Fast & Furious 8 will be released on April 14, 2017.
