The average horror film enthusiast is probably not used to their terror-inducing icons being so delightfully adorable. Leave it to collectible toy maker Funko to change all that.
The company is releasing a new set of Horror themed plushies in their Mopeez line, and the cast features a who's who of Horror icons. The set includes Jason Voorhees (Friday The 13th), Freddy Krueger (Nightmare on Elm Street), Chucky (Chucky franchise), Michael Meyers (Halloween), and Ghost Face (The Scream franchise).
While they might be terrifying in their day jobs, these plushies are anything but here. Well, okay, except for that Michael Meyers one. He's still incredibly creepy, even in plush form.
Funko is also releasing Jason as part of their plush Fabrikations line. The description states he comes with a chainsaw, but the picture only shows a knife. Either way, the figure is incredibly cool on its own.
Both the Horror Mopeez line and the Jason Fabrikation will be shipping in September, just in time for the Halloween festivities. You can see all of them in the gallery.
