In a recent statement, Joel Stillerman commented on the series and its exciting future. The president of original programming said, "We're so excited to continue this journey with Norman Reedus."

"Norman's love of motorcycles and adventure, and his ability to connect with people are the drivers of this series, and we look forward to more great rides next season."

As for the actor himself, Norman was stoked to learn he could continue his road-trip across America. "The reaction to Ride has been incredibly positive. I am glad to be able to show audiences a different side of me and we have gotten a great response to the candid conversation and the fact that it's obviously not scripted," he said. "I feel like we are just getting started and there are so many amazing places we have yet to go - the opportunities for the show are endless."

If you are unfamiliar with the series, then you should know that Ride with Norman Reedus follows the popular actor as he travels across the U.S. with special guests. Norman rode with several famous friends like Balthazar Getty, Robert Rodriguez, Jason Paul Michaels, and even the legendary Peter Fonda. Ride with Norman Reedus took the motorcycle-loving stars as they visited locales like Death Valley, Appalachia, Louisiana, Texas, and the Florida Keys.

And, of course, fans can't forget the time Norman Reedus drove through Las Vegas and visited a zombie-themed burlesque show. The gory strip-tease left Norman stunned, and the cast was just as excited to learn that The Walking Dead actor was in their audience.

Of course, Ride with Norman Reedus will give the star a nice break following the premiere of The Walking Dead's new season. Fans have been excited for the debut of Season 7 since the series previous season ended with what might be the world's worst cliffhanger. Sources are speculating the return of The Walking Dead will bring record ratings to AMC come October.

Ride with Norman Reedus is produced by Left/Right Productions. Executive producers are Ken Druckerman, Banks Tarver, Anneka Jones and Norman Reedus. The series is just one of several popular non-fiction series slated to air on AMC as Talking Dead, The Making of the Mob: Chicago, and Geeking Out continue to draw in viewers.

The Walking Dead returns for its seventh season on October 23, 2016 to AMC.
