After New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. threw a temper tantrum on the sidelines during Sunday's Week 3 loss against the Washington Redskins, the Internet exploded with hilarious memes and posts about the incident.

When Giants quarterback Eli Manning threw a red-zone interception, OBJ became visibily frustrated. In a fit of rage, the wide receiver then decided to viciously smash one of the kicker's practice nets. However, he never expected that the net was going to retaliate and punch him back right in the face.

The ridiculous video went viral and now thanks to Bleacher Report, the humorous incident was given the Mortal Kombat treatment in what has to be the best thing on the Internet today. Check out the video above that Bleacher Report posted to their Facebook page on Monday.

The Washington Redskins also trolled Odell Beckham Jr. hard with a tweet that simply stated: "Those nets are tricky."

Then to add insult to injury, the cameras caught Odell Beckham Jr. crying on the sidelines.

Even though OBJ put up pretty good stats, it will not be remembered as one of his best days on the field as he got smacked by a kicking net, and was seen with tears streaming down his face on the sidelines.
