Dale Horvath
Dale was a beloved character on The Walking Dead for the first two seasons, and his memory has had a lasting impact on the series.
While someย will remember Dale for his wisdom, kind heart, or bucket hat, many will remember his other useful quality.
Dale had an awesome Winnebago.
This 1973 Winnebago Chieftan was a staple of survival for the group at the beginning. Whenever someone was sick, or needed to hide from a walker, the ‘Bago had their back. The only downside was how often that thing needed some kind of hose.
It was sad to lose Dale so early, but it’s even sadder knowing the Wennebago is no more.

Glenn Rhee
Poor Glenn Rhee. Not only did the character die in the season seven premiere, but he left this world never having a cool car.
Well, at least for not very long.
After a raid to Atlanta in the show’s first season, Glenn ends up being used as a distraction. If he can make enough noise, the walkers will be forced to leave the others alone.ย
With Rick’s help, Glenn acquires a sleek, red, Dodge Charger to drive around. The pair sets off the car’s alarm, and Glenn whips around the city to draw the walkers away.ย
ย
Merle Dixon
Merle was a dirty, gritty, rough-and-tumble kind of guy. It would have been a shame if his car didn’t match his personality.
After joining up with The Governor and the people of Woodbury, Merle was given a slightly better lot in life. Sure, he had no hand, but he had a place to sleep and a car to drive.
Merle rolled around in a raggety 1990 Chevy Caprice that looked almost as run-down and raggety as he did.ย
The Caprice didn’t have too long of a shelf life on the show, but Merle didn’t exactly last through the series.

The Governor
Fans may hate The Governor, and that’s for good reason, but there’s one great thing about him that no one can deny.
The dude has a bad-ass truck.
The Governor drove a 1998 Dodge Ram and he knew exactly how to use it. That beast could pull vehicles, uproot trees, and take out thousands of zombies each and every day.
The Governor was known for having an entire arsenal of terrifying vehicles. Many will remember the evil leader rolling up to the prison driving an actual tank, with an army of trucks in tow.ย
This is one car lot you don’t wanna mess with.
ย
Daryl Dixon
If there is one character on The Walking Dead that has been eternally linked to their vehicle, it’s Daryl Dixon.
Ever since the early episodes, Daryl has been driving around his old Triumph Bonneville. It may not do much in the way of killing zombies, but it’s easy to see how he can use it to escape any dangers that he may face.
In recent episode, Daryl has actually lost his trademark bike. The villain named Dwight, Negan’s loyal soldier, stole the motorcycle along with his leather vest and crossbow.
Hopefully, Daryl won’t be without his Triumph for very long.

King’s County Sheriff
When fans were first introduced to Rick, he was trying desperately to wrap his brain around the infection. One of his first acts was to return to the King’s County Sheriff’s office for weapons and a car.
Rick grabbed the classic Crown Victoria and began his battle against the undead. While the car doesn’t seem like anything special, it’s a durable machine that police officers have used for years.
This car made its first appearance on the show at the very beginning of episode one. Rick and Shane drove around in the Crown Vic while on patrol before the infection.

Grady Memorial Hospital
The Grady Memorial Hospital leaves a sour taste in the mouths of most fans. While the storyline surrounding the hospital was intruiging, many will only remember it for causing the death of fan-favorite character, Beth.
When the hospital was first introduced, some of its inhabitants were seen driving around in a black Dodge Magnum. The car was a bit creepy, considering there was a white cross in the back window.
The men in the car kidnapped Beth in the middle of the night, and Daryl spent a long time searching surrounding areas for the Magnum.
The Walking Dead has had some great vehicles over the years, and there’s a chance that Negan and the other Saviors can introduced even better ones.
