The Walking Dead: 5 Predictions For Service
The Walking Dead has given fans a topsy-turvy season so far. The season seven premiere was as [...]
Funniest Negan All Season
After his entrance in the season six finale, fans knew Negan was going to bring the jokes. Just as he did in the comics, Negan finds a way to turn the darkest situations into comedic relief.
In last week's episode, Negan seemed to have cooled off a little bit. He was funny in that scene with Dwight, but no one really saw much of him otherwise. Kind of like Jaws, the big villain was just teased throughout the episode.
Look for a full-on Negan revivial this Sunday. When Negan arrives in Alexandria in the comics, he delivers some of his best one-liners. In order to cut the tension in this episode, it's likely that the writers will bring a lot of those jokes back around.
prevnextSomeone Else Stands Up To Negan
Rick learned in the season premiere that Negan isn't to be taken lightly. If you stand up to him, you will be put in your place.
To further drive that point home, Daryl tried standing up for his friends. What happened? Glenn got demolished by Lucille and Daryl was still taken prisoner.
In this episode, look for someone else in the group to still try and pull something. A great guess would point toward Carl, Spencer, or Michonne.
No matter who it is, this situation can't end well for everyone. If he's in the right kind of mood, an act like this could cause Negan to absolutely lose it.
prevnextDwight Turns
In the comics, Dwight becomes one of Rick's most trusted allies. It takes a very long time to reach that point, but it does happen.
This eventual friendship begins around this time, when Dwight reveals himself to Rick and Ezekiel.
Ezekiel won't be in this episode, but Dwight has already begun doubting Negan and his way of life. When he gets to Alexandria, and sees how the other half lives, there's a great chance Dwight will start to break.
If the show is following the comics at all, this moment is coming fairly soon. No one is sure when it will happen, but this week seems like a great opportunity.
prevnextSpencer Goes Off
In another comic storyline, Spencer decides to go against Rick after Negan comes around. People have died, and Spencer believes it's all Rick's fault. When his family was in charge of Alexandria, nothing bad happened.
Spencer begins to question all of Rick's decisions, and looks to overthrow him and take back control of Alexandria. To put the final bow on this plan, Spencer enlists the help of Negan while he's in town.
The young man offers Negan the chance to kill Rick, once and for all. He will deliver the leader on a silver platter, and then serve under Negan's rule without complaint.
Negan isn't a fan of this idea, and he kills Spencer on the spot.
prevnextCarl Hops In The Truck
In what becomes one of Carl's most significant moments in the entire comic series, the young boy stows away on one of Negan's trucks. When the convoy gets back to The Sanctuary, Carl pops out, firing a machine gun at the Saviors.
Since Negan shows up knocking on Alexandria's gate this week, we can assume he doesn't leave empty-handed. Carl, who has already shown signs of rebellion against the new regime, isn't going to take lightly to this.
In a betting world, one could put money down that Carl disappears from Alexandria as the episode ends.
