Riverdale may be just under a month away from returning to television, but fans of the show can get a look at their favorite characters on the cover of Entertainment Weekly's Fall TV Preview issue this week.
Last month, the magazine announced that The CW drama was the winner of their annual Fall TV Preview Cover Battle. The series beat out sixty-four other shows, including fellow The CW series The Flash and Arrow.
The cover features KJ Apa (Archie Andrews,) Camila Mendes (Veronica Hodge,) Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones,) and Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper) dressed in combinations of black, white and denim. The Riverdale-themed issue is available exclusively to Entertainment Weekly subscribers. However, everyone can get a look behind the scenes of the photoshoot thanks to a special video which you can check out below.
In addition to an inside look at the cover photoshoot, the cast talks a bit about the upcoming second season. While the cast remains tight-lipped about the details, they do describe season two as dark and thrilling, a tone that the latest promo for reinforces.
Riverdale's second season will premiere on Wednesday, October 11th on The CW.
