Godzilla fans, there is about to be a store just for you. The world's first official Godzilla retail store is opening in Tokyo next month.
According to Moviche, the store will be located on the first floor of the Toho Cinema in Tokyo's Shinjuku ward, a building that is hard to miss thanks to the giant Godzilla statue on the roof. The store is scheduled to open October 30th.
Shoppers at the store, called Godzilla Store Tokyo, will have over 500 Godzilla items to choose from with some of the items sold being exclusive to Godzilla Store Tokyo. Items include standard "tourist" type items such as t-shirts, coffee mugs, and artwork, but shoppers will also be able to purchase various sizes of Godzilla dolls as well as the upcoming Sanrio/Godzilla collaboration. The collaboration features Godzilla done in the style of Hello Kitty as well as other popular Sanrio characters.
And if having a whole store of Godzilla goodies wasn't enough, shoppers at Godzilla Store Tokyo can also apply for a Godzilla Visa credit card at the so that all their purchases can pay homage to the world's most famous kaiju.
If you're not able to go to Tokyo to shop the Godzilla store, you can still at least get your Godzilla movie fix. Hulu recently announced that a lot of Godzilla films will be coming to the streaming service on October 1st while Godzilla: Monster Planet is set to release on Netflix in November in the United States.
And for fans looking for a big screen kaiju experience? Godzilla 2 (tentatively titled Godzilla: King of Monsters) is set to hit theaters March 22, 2019.
