Millar and Torres Debut New Jupiter's Circle Art
03/13/2015 04:24 pm EDT
The world of Mark Millar and Frank Quitely's Jupiter's Legacy is pretty messed-up. But it didn't always used to be that way.
Millar, along with artist Wilfredo Torres, will explore those sunnier days in the upcoming Jupiter's Legacy prequel series, Jupiter's Circle. In Jupiter's Circle, the clock is wound back to The Utopian, Lady Liberty, and Walter Sampson's glory days as high-flying superheroes. But as the super-friends revel in their power and public adoration, secret tensions will rise to the surface. As the team faces threats both internal and external, their world might becomes slightly less rosy
You can check out a six page preview of the comic below, which suggests that the Jupiter universe may have always been pretty screwy to begin with.
Jupiter's Circle hits comic shops on April 8.
