The time all Fullmetal Alchemist fans gave been waiting do patiently for is almost here, with the Fullmetal Alchemist live-action adaptation only being a few short weeks away now. Recently the production company for the film released a new trailer, however, they have also now released a new theatrical poster for the film as well, which has only further excited fans.

The film will follow the story of two brothers in Edward and Alphonse Elric, who tragically failed as resurrecting their late mother using alchemy. In the process, Edward loses two limbs and Alphonse loses his entire body, however; Edward manages to keep him alive by sealing his soul in a giant pile of armor. Determined to get their bodies resorted, the two boys become State Alchemists in order to find a powerful item called the Philosopher's Stone.

In the meantime, the two fall into a long lasting secret conspiracy, which involves their mysterious father and his mistakes from the past. This is a truly amazing story and Fullmetal Alchemist fans have been waiting quite some time for it to be re-created as a live-action production. The manga was originally released in 2001 and since inspired two animated series', two animated films and now a live-action adaptation that will premiere on December 1st, 2017.
