Funimation Confirms Winter 2018 Silmuldub Schedule

Anime fans are going to have a fantastic 2018, as many new series as well as sequels to older series are going to make a big impact over the year. The first wave of shows are part of the Winter 2018 season, and the schedule is packed.

For fans who appreciate English dubs, and Funimation's ability to release an English language broadcast of the original series a few days after its airing in Japan, Funimation has confirmed their Winter 2018 simuldub schedule.

Although Funimation has confirmed the slate of the series hitting their FunimationNOW streaming service, they finally have hard release dates for each series' premiere. Major series to look out for this season include A-1 Pictures and Trigger's DARLING in the FRANXX mysterious project, the horror anthology The Junji Ito Collection, and the strange gag manga turned even more parodical anime Pop Team Epic.

Winter 2018 also sees the return of many popular series such as Dagashi Kashi, Overlord, and Touken Ranbu Hanamaru. Along with these new series are grand returns of huge fan-favorites like Basilisk with Basilisk: The Ouka Ninja Scrolls, and Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card.

Fans who have already seen the Japanese language broadcasts for many of these series have reacted positively to the year's first few offerings. If this holds true for the English language broadcasts as well, then 2018 will continue its strong start into the next few seasons and beyond as year also sees the return of many huge Shonen and other anticipated titles like My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, One Punch Man, Fairy Tail, FLCL, and Full Metal Panic!

Not to mention the continuing offers like Dragon Ball Super, One Piece, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and Black Clover.
