The daughter of Uchiha Sasuke and Sakura Haruno has been the main focal point for the past couple of Boruto Next Generation episodes, as Naruto Gaiden is animated. This was largely due to her doubting the fact that Sakura is her real mother, which doesn't surprise fans, as Sasuke and Sakura's relationship can be weird at times.

As a result, Sarada decides to search for her father and in the process awakens her Sharingan for the first time. However, the way she did it was special in comparison to every other Uchiha. Normally for an Uchiha to awaken their Sharingan they must experience loss, pain or be in a near death experience. However, for Sarada, it was quite different, as she awakened hers without her being in any of those situations.

In episode 20 of Boruto fans watched as Sarada awakened the first stage of the Sharingan, for an unheard of reason. It was out of the blue, with very little provocation, however, the young Uchiha did it. The reason why Sarada awakened her Sharingan was not for revenge, the effect of loss or to save a comrade no, it was for a more pure reason; love.

Uchiha Sarada is the first and only Uchiha known to awaken her Sharingan because of love. Sarada was so excited when she snuck away from Naruto and Cho-Cho to the building where her father was hiding, that it caused her to awaken her Sharingan. Sarada's love for her father who she has not seen since she was a baby was so strong, that it caused the famous Uchiha Kekkei Genkai to awaken. This is history in the making for Naruto and Boruto fans, as it is the first time anything like this has ever happened.
