When it comes to LEGO’s biggest, baddest commercially released sets, there's only two bigger than this Ninjago set.
The #10189 Taj Mahal and #10179 Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon top the charts (for the time being) with 5,922 and 5,195 pieces respectively. Both sets have been retired, and currently fetch thousands on sites like eBay. Sliding in at third on this list is the brand new #70620 Ninjago City from The LEGO Ninjago Movie with an eye-popping 4,867 pieces.

The Ninjago City set is available to order from the LEGO Shop online ($299.99) for LEGO VIP program members ahead of its wide release on September 1st. Signing up for a VIP membership is free, so that means anyone can grab it. I suggest you do just that since these sets will likely go quickly at the standard price. Based on the history of LEGO’s largest sets, it might even be an investment. Below you’ll find a video where the creators at LEGO walk you through the Ninjago City set, along with the official description and details.
