New Spider-Woman Comic Book Is A Huge Hit

The return of Spider-Woman to her own comic book is proving to be a huge hit for Marvel Comics. The first issue of Spider-Woman sold out at the distribution level, and Marvel Comics has announced a Spider-Woman #1 Second Printing Variant. The Spider-Woman #1 Second Printing Variant will feature a new cover consisting of the interior art of Alex Maleev. The second printing is scheduled to hit comic book stores on November 11, 2009. According to a review by Comicbook.com's Nick Winstead, "This first issue jumps out to an impressive start, and the pacing is quick and immediate, with the reader able to be engaged throughout." Marvel Comics has also released the cover image for Spider-Woman #2. Spider-Woman #2 is written by Brian Michael Bendis with art by Alex Maleev. Spider-Woman #2 is scheduled to arrive in comic book stores on October 21, 2009.
