While some Marvel film projects remain unclear as to how true they will stay to their source, actor Chris Hemsworth, star of the upcoming Thor, revealed in an interview with Access Hollywood that fans of the Asgardian god of thunder have nothing to worry about in terms of the film grossly straying from the character's four-color origins. "I have a long blonde wig and a nice big red cape and all sorts of armor and interesting bits and pieces. I have the hammer {too}. It's pretty true to the comics," said the actor. In taking it a step further from just Thor's appearance, Hemsworth mentioned that, "There's so many different versions of the comic books, they've sort of bonded quite a few of them to form this particular story, but it's all very true to the original stuff." He went on to say that the movie was over thee-fourths of the way finished, and that fans will not be disappointed in the Kenneth Branagh-directed film, which will pit Thor against his arch-nemesis, the god of mischief, Loki. The film is set to be released on May 6th, 2011. Bring on the teaser pictures!!!
