New Avengers Movie Photos Released

While we anxiously await a second trailer for The Avengers, Marvel.com has released some more photos to tide us over. The photos don't really reveal anything new about the Avengers movie, but they sure are awesome to view. The first new Avengers movie photo shows Captain American and Thor in battle against a mysterious foe. Crumpled cars, fire, and partially destroyed buildings can be seen in the background.

The second new Avengers movie photo shows Iron Man whizzing between rows of building. The bustling traffic can be seen below him. While there's no visible damage in this scene, Iron Man definitely looks to be in a hurry.

The Avengers movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 4, 2012. The Avengers features Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. Stars involved include Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson.
