As you probably know, we're extremely excited about the upcoming film adaptation 'John Carter,' starring Taylor Kitsch.  The only problem, notwithstanding the premiere, is that the film is getting little buzz.  Most of the blame for that could be put on the marketing department at Disney, the studio behind the film. There is a great story behind John Carter, but the world doesn't know it.  And based off the two trailers and multiple TV spots, it's close to impossible for someone unfamiliar with the story/character to get excited about the film.  If you didn't know better, you'd think it was just another run-of-the-mill story about a dude fighting some aliens.  But it's much more than that. And if the studio can't frame the movie for everyone, enter TheJohnCarterFiles.  They created a phenomenal trailer that, well, should become the official trailer for the film.  Check it out:

All I can say is WOW.  That's how you make a trailer that A, tells the average filmgoer about the movie, and B, doesn't give away too much of the plot.  So Disney, pay the people at TheJohnCarterFiles a few thousand bucks for their effort and make that trailer yours.  And air the crap out of it the next 10 or so days.  Because not only does 'John Carter' deserve a great box office showing, it's a story that could have multiple sequels.
