T-Minus 12 days until "The Hunger Games" hits theaters for the masses.  The run-up to the film has been fantastic, with daily snippets being released to drive fans more crazy for the film.  And now there is some behind the scenes footage. ETOnline ran a five minute segment with the main actors from the film: Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta), Liam Hemsworth (Gale), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch), Elizabeth Banks (Effie), Wes Bentley (Seneca) and Lenny Kravitz (Cinna).  Check out the clip below:

For newcomers to the film, the behind-the-scenes does a pretty good job of giving an idea of the story.  For die hard fans, the footage is something completely different: it's a sneak-peek into scenes from the book and how those scenes are being translated to the silver screen. The scene (or bits of it) that stood out the most to me was where Peeta threw the burned bread into the alleyway.  As readers of the book know, that scene cuts to the heart of Katniss and Peeta's relationship.  Can't wait to see the entire scene. "The Hunger Games" is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins.  It opens in theaters March 23.
