X-Men Days Of Future Past: Hugh Jackman In Talks To Return As Wolverine

Perhaps not wanting to risk getting scooped by Bryan Singer's Twitter feed, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Hugh Jackman is in talks to reprise his role as Wolverine in X-Men Days Of Future Past. The news is not surprising as Hugh Jackman never seems to pass on a chance to play Wolverine. He even appeared in a very brief but hilarious scene in X-Men: First Class. Just yesterday, director Bryan Singer revealed that Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen from the original X-Men movies would be joining James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult in X-Men Days Of Future Past. The X-Men Days of Future Past movie is based on an early eighties storyline from  Uncanny X-Men. The story involves an alternate future with giant robots called Sentinels, who hunt down and kill mutants. X-Men Days Of Future Past is set to be released on July 18, 2014.
