The Hunger Games Come to Greendale in New Community Teaser

A new teaser for NBC's Community debuted during last night's premiere of 1600 Penn, NBC's new White House comedy. You can see it below. The teaser, which is introduced by series actors Danny Pudi, Jim Rash and Joel McHale, features a Greendale-set version of The Hunger Games (titled, naturally, The Hunger Deans), which will determine which students are allowed to remain in a class that the college registration system overbooked. Yeah, it sounds like they're pulling out all the stops and rolling out "the paintball episode" early this year. Whether that will please longtime fans or seem like a desperate grab for attention remains to be seen, but it probably depends on how well it works. Community returns February 7 at 8 p.m. EST (which, as fans know, is actually October 19, which the network cleverly hid).
