Latino Review's El Mayimbe, the same reporter and gossip columnist who brought fans the scoop that Marvel Studios would announce a Guardians of the Galaxy film at Comic Con International last year, is following up his attention-grabbing Super Bowl Sunday presentation with an Oscar Night revelation aimed at Warner Bros.' DC Entertainment. Well, technically a post-Oscar Night revelation, but still. The writer tweeted, 'DC UNIVERSE FANBOYS! I'm working on dropping something VERY COOL the day after the Oscars about a specific member of THE JUSTICE LEAGUE." Assuming he has good intel on Warner's upcoming plans, the obvious choices are Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, all of whom have projects in various stages of development at Warner Bros. presently. For any other member of the Justice League to be moving the needle at the studio right now, though, would likely be a bigger story. The Academy Awards take place on Sunday, February 24, meaning that the news would drop on Monday. That would make it just over three weeks after El Mayimbe rocked the comics media with his allegations that Marvel moles had spilled a huge amount of Phase Two and Phase Three spoilers to him, including plans for a Planet Hulk movie. What do you think--will he be able to drum up the same kind of hype twice?
