Shadowman

co-writer and artist Patrick Zircher will leave Shadowman following next month's sixth issue to take a full-time job pencilling DC Comics's Suicide Squad. Shadowman #0, due on sale in May, will feature art by Roberto De La Torre and Mico Suayan. Valiant's June solicitations list Justin Jordan as the lone writer with art by Neil Edwards. This marks the first real defection back to the big two since Valiant launched, with most of its titles enjoying stability and even those artists that don't remain on the same title arc after arc remaining true to the publisher (for instance, former Archer & Armstrong artist Clayton Henry is working on Harbinger Wars now). A number of writers who have been working on Valiant's critically-acclaimed books have segued that into high-profile work at DC, including X-O Manowar's Robert Venditti stepping up to replace Geoff Johns on Green Lantern.
