Tom DeFalco, Walt Simonson Team for Thor-Themed Archie Issue

Comics icons Tom DeFalco and Walter Simonson will join forces in October to revisit their glory days (and turn those days on their head) with an Archie story that plays with the conventions of Marvel's Thor. The all-star creative team each had celebrated runs crafting the tales of the god-turned-superhero and will combine that experience with the world of Riverdale in a story entitled "Clod of Thunder." DeFalco is writing the story while Simonson will provide the cover art. Life With Archie's Fernando Ruiz will provide interior art on the story. DeFalco got his start at Archie before moving on to do work at Marvel, DC and elsewhere. This is Simonson's first work for the publisher.
