Joss Whedon took the Saturn Award for Best Director and Best Science Fiction Film home at last night's Saturn Awards, with Marvel's The Avengers also winning in two other categories. Clark Gregg won Best Supporting Actor and the film also won for Best Special Effects. AMC's The Walking Dead also took home two awards, for Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series, with Laurie Holden taking away Best Supporting Actress on Television for her performance as Andrea on the hit zombie series. The film equivalent, the Best Actress trophy, went to Anne Hathaway in the sole win for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. You can see a full list of winners here.
