Strong Chance Of Stan Lee Cameo On Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Stan Lee & Chole Bennet

While Stan Lee is famous for doing cameos in Marvel movies, many fans have been wondering if he might show up in Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series. In a new interview with TV Guide, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. executive producer Jed Whedon addresses the possibility of Stan Lee making a cameo appearance on the show.

"I would say there's a strong chance,"said Whedon. If Stan Lee does get an Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. cameo, then we have the perfect idea for the cameo. At the Thor: The Dark World premiere, there was an awkward moment, where Chloe Bennet, who plays Skye on Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., denied Stan Lee a kiss. We think Stan Lee should plant a big, wet kiss on Skye during his cameo.

In addition to confirming the likelihood of a Stan Lee appearance, Whedon also seemed to confirm a story that was first reported by Comicbook.com. Before it was even announced that Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. would have a tie-in episode with Thor: The Dark World, our sources told us that there would be an Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. tie-in with Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

In regards to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Whedon said, "Nick Fury [Samuel L. Jackson] is in that one, and S.H.I.E.L.D. makes an appearance, so we will definitely try to tee-up some stuff and probably play a little bit of the fallout from that film. We're hoping to do some cool stuff."

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs on Tuesday nights at 8 PM ET on ABC.
