Breaking Bad's Plemons Calls Star Wars Reports "Crazy Rumors"

In a red carpet interview with HitFix at last night's Screen Actors Guild Awards, Breaking Bad villain Jesse Plemons denied reports that he was "locked in" for Star Wars Episode VII, although he did it in such a way that it's unlikely to completely settle the issue for people who believe the original rumor, or want to. Asked whether there was anything to the rumors that he was in the running for Star Wars, Plemons said no and then, grinning, told the interviewer "Yeah, I think it's just one of those crazy rumors." Plemons seemed generally to be pretty pleased to be at the SAG Awards, so we'd caution against reading too much into his smile, but certainly whether there's any truth to the reports or not, he doesn't appear particularly unhappy to be associated with Star Wars in the minds of the public. Plemons's next big project, which he mentions in the video embedded below, will be an as-yet-untitled film about Lance Armstrong from High Fidelity and Philomena director Stephen Frears.
