The Simpsons To Kill Of A Character

When FX bought up syndication rights for The Simpsons, one of the key parts of the acquisition was an exclusive was the streaming rights to the veteran animated sitcom, which has never been available on any free streaming service before. In August, though, the first 24 seasons of The Simpsons will go live simultaneously on the FXNow app, available on iOS, Windows 8, Xbox One and other formats (but not Android, sorry). The catch? You've got to log in through your cable provider and not all of them are supported. Viewers may also access FXNOW content online via FXNetworks.com. Currently companies on board include AT&T U-verse, Cablevision's Optimum TV, Comcast, Suddenlink and WOW!, with others slated for 2015. So far, about half of all FX subscribers are eligible for the app. In addition to the 24 seasons of Simpsons coming this summer to FXNOW, current and upcoming seasons of the series will be made available to watch on the platform as each new one begins its first run on FOX. FXX and FXNOW will deliver access to season 25 in September 2014.
