300 Rise of an Empire Xerses

Zack Snyder's 300 will return to theaters for a one-night-only engagement in ten North American cities ahead of the release of its upcoming sequel, 300: Rise of an Empire, Warner Bros. announced today. The event will take place on February 4. In celebration of the March 7th release of Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' 300: Rise of an Empire, fans in ten cities in North America will have an opportunity to see 300 returning to the big screen exclusively for this event. Fans attending the event will also be the first to see the first 13 minutes of 300: Rise of an Empire, which will be unveiled—complete and uncut in 3D IMAX—prior to the first film's screening. The cities in which the events will be held are New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Boston, Dallas, Washington DC, Phoenix, Toronto and Montreal. The new film was directed by Noam Murro, from a screenplay by Snyder & Kurt Johnstad, based on the (non-existent) graphic novel Xerxes by Frank Miller.  Gianni Nunnari, Mark Canton, Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Bernie Goldmann produced the film, with Thomas Tull, Frank Miller, Stephen Jones and Jon Jashni serving as executive producers.
