The Walking Dead Live Bait The Governor

With eight more episodes of AMC's The Walking Dead coming to TV starting on Sunday, there are likely to be a lot of rumors floating around as to which characters won't make it out of the end of Season Four alive--especially with the entire cast scattered the winds, scarred and terrified, and some characters possibly already dead or dying. What's less expected is a new report from TV Guide that suggests David Morrissey's The Governor will return in spite of having been beaten, stabbed, shot and left for dead in the midseason finale. Here's the exact quote: "Don't expect to see too many familiar faces since Rick and Carl take center stage when the AMC drama returns. While Rick heals from his beating from The Governor — whom you will see again — Carl will lose something very important to him. (No, not his innocence!)" The Governor was listed on the "death rolls" at the end of Talking Dead at midseason, though, and producers have talked about him as being dead-for-real...so it's probably most likely that he'll appear as a hallucination to Rick, who in the comics spent much of this time talking to his dead wife on the phone--a story that's already been done and finished on the TV show.
