The Walking Dead: The Grove's Puzzle Was Sophia

On tonight's episode of Talking Dead, The Walking Dead star Melissa McBride revealed that the puzzle which was on the table throughout the episode -- and which was prominently "That was great--that was just a bit of prop, but it surprised all of us," McBride told host Chris Hardwick. "We were shooting the confession there and it was the last day. And the whole time, this puzzle was on the table, the whole time we were shooting the episode, it was on the table. The children were playing with it and putting pieces together of it. And then Mike Satrazemis came out, who directed the episode with the box cover, and said 'This is what the puzzle looks like when you put it together,' and we looked at it and it was Sophia in her rainbow t-shirt." After the studio audience and co-panelists reacted with surprise, she added, "We had no idea if we put it all together that's what it would make....It was something that [Satrazemis] wanted to do to have that energy there but also to reveal that at the time he did may have pushed that scene a little bit further."
